Despite all the controversy surrounding Marqgate leading up to this event there still were 22 other competitors looking to make a statement on UFC's first visit to Pittsburgh. The main event featured an incredible bout with one of the most amazing comeback KO's in MMA history. We also seen another heavyweight perhaps on the verge of breaking into the top 10 and yet another shuffle in the welterweight division rankings. On the preliminary portion of the event 2 UFC vets saw mixed results in their UFC Featherweight debuts. We did see a good share of great performances and finishes on the undercard but most likely will be over shadowed by an inadvertent illegal blow that ultimately effected the outcome of the bout.
Chieck Kongo defeated Pat Barry by TKO 2:39 1st Round

I'm pretty sure Steven Seagal didn't teach Kongo this. Fight Of The Year, KO Of The Year, Comeback Of The Year this fight had it all. Barry had Kongo on the ropes knocking him and had Kongo stumbling across the octagon, I gave this fight a 4.5 rating but Dan Mirgliotta deserves a 5/5 for the job he did keeping the fight going after Kongo seemingly was out. Honestly I don't remember seeing a ref get that close to calling a fight but not, he also should get kudos for being so light on his feet by not getting in the way of the action.

Future match ups to make:
Kongo- Facing off against someone who is also coming off a win would make sense for Kongo, such as David Herman or even Matt Mitrione.
Barry- Back to the drawing board for Barry, a match up with Stefan Struve could be entertaining.
Charlie Brenneman defeated Rick Story by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
My Prediction Story Decision
This is not exactly how Rick Story imagine his weekend going. Pretty sure a dominate victory over Nate Marquardt was on his wish list but it was taking a lose being outworked and outwrestled by late replacement Charlie Brenneman. The short turn around and change in opponent could very well be a factor in Story being unprepared as Brenneman and Marquardt are different fighters stylistically. But with that said Brenneman had to change game plans and didn't even think he was fighting on the card the day of the weigh ins. $$
Future match ups to make:
Brenneman- It was Brenneman's opportunity to seize and he took full advantage of it, with that said I don't think we should start booking title fights for him. A bout with a full camp against Claude Patrick could really show us where he stands in the division.

Matt Mitrione defeated Christian Morecraft by TKO 4:28 2nd Round

Mitrione looks better and better each fight he's in and he continued that trend with this bout against Morecraft. Morecraft was competitive early but as the 1st round ended it seemed it was Mitrione's fight to win as he probably scored a 10-8 round. Mitrione played a great patient game countering Morecraft and picking his shots and got the finish late in the 2nd round. $$1/2

A great back and forth affair standing and on the ground which will have a black eye on it as Oliveira hit Lentz with an illegal knee that wasn't caught by the ref which lead to Oliveira getting the submission only moments later. As it stands right now the outcome of the fight will not be over turned by the commission.
