Birthdays
Gilbert Yvel born June 30th, 1976 in Amsterdam, Netherlands
"The Hurricane" is perhaps more known for his questionable conduct inside the ring rather than his skill, he is however a veteran of 54 MMA bouts winning 36 of them.  The conduct in question includes biting an opponents ear, punching a ref and raking his fingers across an opponents face.  A feared striker he has never got any traction fighting on the big stage going a less that stellar 2-10-1 with the UFC and Pride organizations.  However notable wins for Yvel include Pedro Rizzo, Valentjin Overeem, and Chieck Kongo.

Dan Miller born June 30th, 1981 in Whippany, New Jersey
Dan, the older brother of Jim Miller is a veteran of 9 UFC fights and is the former IFL Middleweight champion, who current career record stands at 13-5.  Miller is probably most famous for his bout against Dave Phillips where he caught Phillips in a brutal standing guillotine choke which Bas Rutten called "The tightest guillotine choke he's ever seen".  Notable wins for Miller include Joe Doerksen, Jake Rosholt and John Howard.

Forrest Griffin born July 1st, 1979 in Columbus, Ohio.
The former UFC Light Heavyweight champion and The Ultimate Fighter season 1 winner.  One of the UFC's most popular fighters he rose to stardom after his bout against Stephan Bonnar in the TUF finale which is consider not only one of the best fights in MMA history but most important.  Forrest once served as a law enforcement officer in Georgia before getting into MMA.  Griffin is also an author of 2 books titled "Got Fight?: 50 Zen Principles Of Hand-to-Face Combat" and "Be Ready When The $hit Goes Down: A Survival Guide To The Apocalypse.  Notable wins for Forrest include winning the UFC Light Heavyweight title against Rampage Jackson, Rich Franklin and Mauricio Rua.
