Common opponents:
Bryan Goldsby
Brimage won by TKO 2nd Round at XFF 1/19/08
Bass won by Decision at TIM- Throwdown in Motown 4/5/08
How they got here: Bass got into the house with a TKO win over Karsten Lenjont but eventually lost in the quarter finals by submission to Dennis Bermudez. The undefeated Bass has not competed in 2 years but has 5 of wins come by way of submission. Brimage also lost in the quarter finals with his loss coming by submission against Bryan Caraway. Brimage elimation round win was over Bryson Hansen and his last official win was over Kyle Bradley last year.
What to expect: Bass's inactivity shouldn't be an issue against Brimage as he will have a big advantage on the ground and although Brimage does have some power in his hands he should be able to avoid any strikes and get it to the ground, in his advantage and looking for a submission.
My prediction: Bass by Submission 2nd Round
Dustin Pague vs John Albert
10-4 Record 6-1
24 Age 25
145 Weight 145
5'9 Height 5'9
N/A Reach N/A
-270 Odds +240
Common opponents: none
How they got here: Before Pague fell to T.J. Dillashaw in the semi finals he defeated Louis Gaudinot and Tateki Matsuda. Officially Pague is on a 5 fight win streak with all 5 wins being stoppages. Albert got into the house with a win over Orville Smith but lost to finalist John Dodson in the quarter finals. Albert suffered his first career loss in his last fight.
What to expect: As has been the trend with pretty much every prelim bout there is a difference in experience and in this fight it is Pague with the advantage. Pague should be able to use his striking to keep Albert off his game and get the decision victory.
My Prediction: Pague by Decision
Roland Delorme vs Josh Ferguson
6-1 Record 8-3
27 Age 23
135 Weight 125
5'9 Height 5'5
N/A Reach N/A
+105 Odds -115
Common opponents: none
How they got here: Ferguson got into the house with a win over Casey Dyer but lost to Johnny Bedford in the quarter finals. Officially Ferguson has not competed in more than 2 years with his last fight being a decision loss. Delorme's win over Josh's brother BJ got him into the house but he ultimately lost to finalist T.J. Dillashaw in the quarter finals. Delorme's last official fight was also a loss that was more than a year ago.
What to expect: Delorme has the size to get Ferguson down and should be able to out grapple Ferguson from there and possibly get a submission like he did to his brother.
My prediction: Delorme Submission 2nd Round
Steven Siler vs Josh Clopton
18-9 Record 6-0-1
24 Age 30
Weight 145
5'11 Height 5'7
N/A Reach N/A
-150 Odds +145
How they got here: Siler got into the house with the upset over Micah Miller but lost to finalist Diego Brandao in the quarter finals. Siler's last fight was a loss to Cole Escovedo which snapped a 4 fight win streak. Clopton was unable to get into the house as he lost to Dustin Neace in the elimination round. Clopton has now fought in 2 years but is riding a 2 fight win streak.
What to expect: Siler has the experience in total fights and with tougher competition to get the job done pretty much wherever the fight may end up.
My prediction: Siler by Decision
Brian Caraway vs Dustin Neace

Common opponents: noneHow they got here: Caraway got wins over Eric Marriott and Marcus Brimage before losing to Diego Brandao in the semi finals. Caraway is coming off a submission win in his last official fight. Neace got into the house with a win over Josh Clopton but fell to Akira Corassani in the quarter finals. On his official record Neace is coming off a submission loss earlier this year.
What to expect: Caraway has the experience on the bigger shows and should be able to get Neace to the ground and out wrestle him from there.
My prediction: Caraway by Decision
