WEC 41: Brown vs Faber II took place on June 7th 2009 at the Arco Arena in Sacramento, California. Main event featured a rematch for the WEC Featherweight Championship as champion defending his belt by beating Urijah Faber by unanimous decision. The main card featured Jose Aldo's 8 second flying double knee KO over Cub Swanson, Donald Cerrone winning by submission and Josh Grispi beating Jens Pulver by guillotine choke 33 seconds into round 1. The Preliminary portion of the event featured Anthony Pettis, Scott Jorgensen and Manvel Gamburyan all being victorious.
Pride 26: Bad To The Bone took place on June 8th 2003 at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan. Main event featured Fedor Emelianenko taking on Kazuyuki Fujita. Fujita rocked Fedor at one point in the fight which almost seemed the end but Fedor recovered and submitted Fujita just moments later. Also highlighting the card was Mirko Cro Cop defeating Heath Herring, Mark Coleman getting a decision victory over Don Fyre as well as Rampage Jackson and Alistair Overeem getting victories. In a surprising upset Daiju Takase submitted future UFC champion Anderson Silva by triangle choke in the 1st round.
UFC 100 took place on June 11th, 2009 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. UFC 100 was the companies biggest event to date receiving press from pretty much all major outlets. Main evented by a Heavyweight Championship Unification Bout between Brock Lesnar and Frank Mir. Lesnar won the rematch 1:47 into the 2nd Round by TKO. A Welterweight Title fight between Champion George St. Pierre and Thiago Alves was the co-main event which St. Pierre won by decision. Dan Henderson won Knockout Of The Night with a brutal right hand that floored Michael Bisping in a bout between TUF season 9 coaches.

Contestant and winner of The Ultimate Fighter season 8 "Darth" defeated Vinny Magalhaes to win the title. A standout wrestler from Arizona State he went on to create a MMA gym with college teammate C.B. Dollaway and his wrestling coach Aaron Simpson. Cain Velasquez was also a teammate of Bader's while at Arizona State. A career record of 12-1 with his only lose coming by Jon Jones Bader has notable wins over Rogerio Nogueira and Keith Jardine.
Dan Severn born June 8th 1958 in Coldwater, Michigan.
Holding an incredible record of 99-18-7 the soon to be 53 year old is still active having fought on May 20th of this year. Having fought in pretty much every major MMA promotion in the world including the first Pride event Severn is most known for his early fights in the UFC. He won the UFC 5 Tournament, the UFC Ultimate Ultimate 95 Tournament, and a UFC Superfight Championship. Pretty much impossible to include every notable win for "The Beast" but a short list would include Ken Shamrock, Forrest Griffin, Pedro Rizzo, Oleg Taktarov and Tank Abbott.
