5 Finger Knuckle saMMAch: 5 June Fights Under The Radar

1. Gesias Calvancante vs Justin Wilcox at Strikeforce: Overeem vs Werdum June 18th
Tucked away as the first fight on the night at the Strikeforce: Overeem vs Werdum event both fighters have alot to prove with this one.  "JZ" is looking to return to form as one of the top Lightweight's in the world a position he held in 2007.  Wilcox the AKA member who has won 6 in a row is looking to make a big statement that he could be a contender him self.

2. Marius Zaromskis vs Jordan Mein at Score Fighting Series 1 June 10th
The main event for this card which is taking place in Mississauga, Ontario.  Marius the Dream Welterweight champion is still trying to make an impact in North America after being win less in his last 3 fights on the continent.  Mein, who already has 28 pro bouts under his belt winning 21 of them including 6 straight is looking to make a statement that he really one of the top Welterweight prospects in the world.

3.Marlon Sandro vs Genair Da Silva at Bellator 46 June 25th
This bout is main eventing Bellator's "Summer Series" and is part of the Featherweight tournament.  Although coming off a lose Sandro is still considered one of the best Featherweights in the world currently I have him ranked as the #6 Featherweight.  The Nova Uniao trained Black Belt and former Sengoku Featherweight champion is looking to make a big splash in his North American and Bellator debut.  Da Silva is also making his North American and Bellator debut has been a row of late winning his last 5 and is 10-3 overall.

4. Caros Vodor vs James Terry at Strikeforce Challengers 16 June 24th
The main event for the Strikeforce Challengers 16 event Vodor and Terry are 2 lightweights on a roll.  Vodor looking to win his 4th straight Challengers bout and Terry has won 3 in a row himself.  After both have paid their dues on Challenger cards and Strikeforce undercards the winner should be setting himself up for a big matchup perhaps on the main card of Strikeforce event.

5. Lorenz Larkin vs Gian Villante at Strikeforce Challengers 16th June 24th
In a division that Strikeforce greatly lacks in I can see the winner of this belt making a big impact in the division and getting a big matchup in his next bout.  Larkin to me is one of the top Light Heavyweight prospect right now as he is undefeated at 10-0 with his last 7 being finished by TKO or KO.  Villante who previously fought at Heavyweight is a tough opponent and test for Larkin surely does not want to lose his second in a row with with Strikeforce.
