The Ultimate Fighter 13 Season Premiere
Don't think i'll be doing a recap every week on the show but will give a few thoughts about the season premiere from last night. My interest in TUF has dwindled really since season 5 (I enjoyed Season 8, and 10 had some moments) they have already done try outs for season 14 but after that I think we'll see some drastic changes to the show. This season they have brought back the wildcard but no "fight to get into the house" format I always thought the fight to get into the house took away from getting to know the actual competitors who make it, they take up 2 whole episodes flashing fight after fight it gets pretty monotonous, I'd rather see that time getting to know their personalities than see a quick recap of a fight of theirs isn't that the shows point?. As for the coaches I'm on the side that thinks Brock has a lot to offer these guys and he does have a great assistant coaches backing him up, Junior seems like Big Nog always smiling and just happy to be here, he did seem pretty insecure about his limited english but i'm sure once the season progresses he will be more vocal. Speaking of vocal i doubt we will see too much beef between the coaches just because of Juniors personality and he's not Frank Mir so I don't think Brock will get too hot headed and from what I heard Brock was very professional but who knows a door or two may still get kicked in. As for the contestants I don't really know much about any of them aside from fellow Canadian Ryan McGillivray very happy to see him picked high and to Team Dos Santos i'll be certainly pulling for him and wish him much success. I guess thats all I really feeling like writing about this and like I said I don't think there is a need to write about the show every week.
