My Prediciton: Edwards by Decision

What happened: In a great back and forth affair Maguire was able to win all 3 rounds after surviving an early scare from Edwards. Edwards nailed Maguire with a spinning back kick and followed up with a right hand that floored Maguire but he was able to survive and even win the round with takedowns. From there Maguire was in control getting the fight to the ground where it was very apparent he could work for a finish. Maguire looked for chokes, arm bars, leg locks while gaining side control and having Edwards back on multiple occasions.
Future matchups to make: Che Mills could be a great matchup for Maguire.
My Prediciton: De Fries by Submission 2nd Round
My Rating: $
What happened: In a fight lacking action that was mostly decided on the ground De Fries did enough in rounds 1 and 3 to get his first career UFC win. In was in the 2nd that he got in a little trouble as Broughton was able to get on top and De Fries in a crucifix position while landing some significant strikes but to De Fries credit he was able to escape.
Future matchups to make: Christian Morecraft could be a better opponent for De Fries to display his grappling skills
My Prediciton: Young by TKO 2nd Round
My Rating: $1/2
What happened: Omigawa did enough with takedowns and submission attempts to get the decision. Young was able to win the 1st round with his superior striking and not be caught in Omigawa's judo game. From there though Omigawa was able to avoid the striking of Young while getting takedowns and trips while mixing in the odd submission attempt.
Future matchups to make: Jimmy Hettes could be a good challenge for Omigawa and his grappling.
My Prediciton: Cope by Decision
My Rating: $$$
What happened: Mills was able to catch Cope with a jab that seemingly hurt Cope, Mills followed up with a big knee that nearly had the referee stop the fight. Cope was given a chance to recover but once he got back on his feet Mills sent him back down with another knee which forced the referee to stop the fight.
Future matchups to make: Fellow UFC 138 winner John Maguire would make sense for Mills whenever the next UK event takes place.
My Prediciton: Cariaso by Decision
My Rating: $$$
What happened: The first round was given to Lee as he was able to get Cariaso on his back but wasn't able to inflict much damage. From there Cariaso was able to take control using good combos standing which included some nice stand elbows. The fight was really won with Cariaso getting takedowns of his own and gaining full mount position on occasion. The fight ended with Cariaso in complete control on the ground as he worked for a rear naked choke as the round ended.
Future matchups to make: Damacio Page could be an interesting opponent for Cariaso to take on next.
