Pride 9: New Blood June 4th 2000 at the Nagoya Rainbow Hall in Nagoya, Japan. Main event feature Vitor Belfort defeated Gilbert Yvel by decision. Also featured and victorious on the card was Igor Vovchanchyn, Ricco Rodriguez, Carlos Newton and Heath Herring.

Pride Bushido 11 took place June 4th 2006 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. This event featured the first round of Pride's Welterweight (185 lbs) tournament with 7 fights taking place while champion Dan Henderson received a bye. The twin brother of Rodrigo Nogueira who fights at Light Heavyweight has a career record of 19-5. Known for his Jiu Jitsu Rogerio is also an accomplished boxer as he was the Brazilian Super Heavyweight Champion in 2006 and 2007. Rogerio also won a bronze medal at the Pan American Games in 2007.
Matt Serra born June 2nd, 1974 in East Meadow, New York.
"The Terror" has a career record of 11-7. Serra won season 4 of TUF and with that received a title shot against Georges St. Pierre which he won the bout by TKO and is considered one of the biggest upsets in MMA history. The first American black belt under Renzo Gracie Serra won a silver medal in his weight class at the 2001 ADCC. Notable wins for Serra are the previous mentioned Georges St. Pierre, Frank Trigg and Chris Lytle.
